Seeds of Change: A Garden of Ballast Flora (Leuven), 2019

Seeds of Change: A Garden of Ballast Flora was realised in Leuven in the Groot Begijnhof University Centre. This iteration of the ballast garden is part of the work, Seeds of Change: Antwerp and made in conjunction with the exhibit Artefact at STUK in 2019 as a result of original research by Alves on the ballast flora of Antwerp.

The work was commissioned by Stuk Leuven (House for Dance, Image and Sound) and is part of the exhibition Parallel Crossings (Artefact Festival) which took place in February/March 2019 at STUK, Leuven. The work Seeds of Change: A Garden of Ballast Flora (Leuven) can be visited at Spanish Quarter - Groot Begijnhof, Leuven during May 24 – October 12, 2019 (Permanently accessible).
